It's July and in a few days our country will celebrate 250 years! That’s quite a feat...250 years. That's pretty old, but then I wondered what's the oldest country? So, I asked Chat. And like a politician, it gave me a couple answers (depends on how you define it). Chat's response surprised me because it was a country I hadn’t really heard of. The "oldest continuously independent sovereign country is San Marino, founded AD 301. It’s a tiny country...

Hi! I'm so glad you visited my website. If you want to know a little more about my books or about me, keep reading. Scroll around the site. Make yourself at home. Mi casa es su casa.
A little about me:
Angela Hatch writes adventure-driven stories that inspire courage, curiosity, and hope. From STEM-fueled mysteries to heartwarming tales of loyalty and discovery, her books invite readers to explore, imagine, and believe in what’s possible.
Angela Hatch loves great adventures and great stories. And to write about them is a dream come true. She's fed hyenas at a nocturnal zoo in Singapore, visited a bone ossuary in Czech Republic, ridden camels and danced with rainmakers in Morocco, hiked a volcano in Guatemala and roasted marshmallows over hot lava, paddled a gondola in Venice, went to an ice bar in Sweden, passed the Great pyramids of Giza on her way to work, was picked up by the trunk of an elephant in Thailand, and cooks her own spaghetti sauce at home in Alabama.
As the writer of several children's and middle grade books, there is no doubt some of Angie’s adventures will find their way into her humorous, charming, and tug at your heart stories. She has a mantra. Everyone should step outside the comforts of our homes and travel to a place where such comforts are not taken for granted. It is then we can truly see how blessed we are.
Angela also writes Christian Fiction where she highlights social challenges from a different lens and shares aspects of poverty and hope. This is where her mantra shines. In her Christian fiction books, her goal is to tell inspirational engaging stories that bring awareness of those living in poverty. Her ultimate goal is to write books with impact, books that lead to change….because once we know better, we do better. And once we do better, we make the world a better place.
Angela and her husband are currently developing a lakeside retreat for their family of adventurers and dreamers. She loves travel, storytelling, and the spark that begins every great idea.

Here's my little Spring poem:Bring on the sniffles and big snotty sneezes That make room for flowers and pretty Spring breezes. As if it's not enough to have runny noses and wheezes,She pranks us with pollen...but then SHE sneezes."About all that pollen," she laughs, "I'm just teasin.'""April Fool's Day!" she says, "Enjoy the Spring season!"Happy Spring! As Spring arrives, I find my creativity has been...

Hi!It's been a creative month as I return from a very productive writing retreat by the beach (visited daughter and got to stay in a hotel almost a whole week to write all day uninterrupted - how great is that!).I was at my laptop in the hotel breakfast area when a lady leaned over and said, "my friend and I were wondering....are you a writer?""Well, yes I am!" They got excited when I told them I wrote middle grade. (Her friend was a retired...
